Château Méaume comes to Bath

14th July 2026

Lunch with Liveryman Mark Johnson-Hill

Another glorious sunny day in Bath, and it was a pleasure to welcome Liveryman Mark Johnson-Hill to lunch in our garden in Combe Down.

Mark was in town to meet the sales team at our local Majestic Wine warehouse. The wines he and Sandra produce at their beautiful Château Méaume include Majestic's longest-stocked and best-selling Bordeaux, and we've been enthusiastic purchasers ever since they welcomed us so warmly to their vineyard during the Master's Weekend in April.

It was lovely to be able to return a little of that spectacular hospitality on a perfect summer's afternoon before Mark headed off to get the train back to London.
