I was sorry to have to send my apologies to Sheriff Bottomley and to Rear Admiral Simon Williams CB CVO KStJ, Prior of the Priory of England and the Islands, Order of St John, for their kind invitation to dinner at the Chapter Hall, St John's Gate in the presence of HRH The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior of the Order of St John.
Our Company is proud of our connection with the Order of St John through our Clerk, Sandra Stocker.
Perhaps we can arrange a private guided tour of this wonderful and historic place for the Company. The Museum is open to the public free of charge from Wednesdays to Sundays but the Church, Crypt and historic rooms upstairs can only be visited on pre-arranged tours.
