Mercers' Livery Concert

The annual Mercers' Livery Concert was a fine affair. Hosted by Master Alice Hohler it was a more relaxed affair with smoking jackets, cocktail dresses and an informal seating plan for a fine dinner. This gave Masters and Consorts more opportunity to talk and get to know each other. We were entertained by George & the Dragon, an award-winning duo with a broad repertoire of humorous songs. Good to see the audience belting out the chorus of Mud, Mud, Glorious Mud. Songs by Flanders and Swan, Victoria Wood and Tom Lehrerer were highlights, but the crowning glory was the Livery Song, commissioned by the Mercers' Company, which names all the Companies in one amusing song.
