City Arts Week COCKPIT

We were invited to the presentation of the annual results of the COCKPIT Studios in Bloomsbury and Deptford. This comprises 173 artisans in studios on the two sites. Many are supported through grants from Livery Companies including the Turners, Gold & Silver Wyre Drawers, and others. It is a most successful enterprise, giving craftspeople a space in which to learn, manufacture and trade. Very importantly, they are given coaching in how to be commercially viable.
