Royal Garden Party

Every year, the Masters and Consorts of the Livery Companies are invited to one of several Royal Garden Parties. Many have the tradition of meeting at and having lunch at the Goring Hotel, then walking to the Garden Party. As several thousand people attend each event, the Royal family are a distant group as they engage with prearranged deserving folk. Tea and sandwiches are very pleasant.
