Alfred Dunhill Pipe Factory

7th May 2026

Walthamstow

The Director of the Alfred Dunhill Pipe Factory, Kalmon Hener, gave me a fascinating tour of this very busy factory. Alfred Dunhill was a founding father of our reformed Company and was our second Master 1955/6; his son Richard followed him in 1987/8.

The factory is at full production capacity due to a resurgence of interest in the gentle art of pipe smoking. Dunhill White Spot is one of the world's premium pipes, with its popularity at its highest levels for many years.

Kalmon is a pipe enthusiast with a long relationship with our company and maintains good relationships with us. Great to see them prospering.
