The annual InterTabac show in Dortmund is the meeting place for the tobacco and related products industry. Of the 9 halls 4 were designated for tobacco products. The presence of cigar companies has grown considerably over the years; this year, cigar makers and distributors dominated these halls.
Company Freeman Ettore Moraschinelli invited me to his company's stand, EGM Cigars, makers of fine Dominican cigars. A very impressive presence, he was so busy that we had to reschedule several times.
I also met Company Freeman Ricardo Carioni, who was busy in his many roles, not least as a Director of the Premium Cigar Association.
Good to see many pipe makers from Germany and France represented.
