Grocers' Court and Livery City Dinner

I enjoyed a fine Court and Livery City Dinner as the guest of the Grocers' Company, at Grocers' Hall. As always, the food and wine were excellent, and some very interesting conversations were had, particularly about my old school, Oundle, which is under the wing of the Grocers' Company.
A very wide range of guests was there and I sat opposite Mr Michael Waldie, Warden of the Company of Mercers, Grocers & Haberdashers of Richmond, Yorkshire. Interesting to find out more about regional companies!
