Annual Dinner for Masters & Clerks

14th January 2025

Plaisterers' Hall

I enjoyed a very fine Masters & Clerks dinner at Plaisterers' Hall, along with 67 other Masters and numerous other guests, including our neighbour from the next door farm - quite a surprise! A fine 4 course meal of vegetable millefeuille, roast venison, chocolate and praline mousse and cheese and biscuits was followed by wonderful speeches by the Master, James Minett, Sir Ken Olisa (Lord Lieutenant of London) and the Plaisterers' Clerk, Colonel Garth Manger.

My neighbours at the table included John Garbutt, Master of the Guild of Investment Managers, Colonel Jane Carey-Harris, Master of the Nurses and Mr Nick Garnish, Master of the International Bankers.

A wonderful event in a very fine setting so many thanks to the Plaisterers!
