    GSMD Supporters’ Evening

GSMD Supporters’ Evening

21st November 2023

Milton Court, 1 Milton Street, EC2Y 9BH

Chairman of the Benevolent Fund Committee, Jon Fell and I had the opportunity to meet all four of our Guildhall Scholars at once during this special supporters' evening.

Emyr Jones gave a moving speech that reminded us why it is vitally important to sponsor these amazingly talented individuals.

It was heartwarming to see so many Livery Companies represented.

This evening was a testament to the hard work of the Guildhall staff and fundraisers who are determined that talent can and should conquer all! Jon and I were both enchanted by the hard working and determined scholars we support and thrilled to have an opportunity to see them in action as part of this memorable evening! Equally exciting was how pleased our scholars were to meet us. Jon and I invited them to attend our January Dinner and they were thrilled.

I look forward to giving our Company a chance to meet these students and to appreciate how much our support means to them.
