Annual City Livery Concert

The Barbican is an exciting place to listen to a concert. The acoustics are exceptional, the seats are configured in such a way that everyone can see and there is a sense of intimacy.
Attending the Annual City Livery Concert in this environment is especially special. Masters and Consorts have an opportunity to meet some of the teachers, conductors, students and creative forces who often stay behind the scenes. The Lord Mayor amplified the importance of this place and most importantly the Guildhall Musicians, who many of us support, during his passionate remarks.
Our Company supports four incredible students. Collectively, the joy these students give our City of London Community and the Livery Companies is immense. It is important that their contributions are recognised during this annual concert which Court Assistant Flora Okereke and I were honoured to hear.
