Breakfast to Celebrate Common Hall

Breakfast on a day that begins at 03:00 is more like lunch, which suits me fine because I love lunch. Breakfast in the Guildhall on the day of Common Hall, when you vote on the next Lord Mayor, means you are surrounded by your fellow Livery Masters, Prime Wardens and Bailiff as well as the great and the good within the City of London. I was honoured to sit next to Fiona Wolfe, an amazing past Lord Mayor and the current Master of the Wax Chandlers, Fiona’s husband is not only her Consort, but, Master Gardener. The conversation flowed and Mark Grove made sure that no one left hungry!
