Dinner with Past Master Taberer at Vintners’ Hall

Thank you Master Vintner, Edward Berry for permitting me to host a celebration on the rooftop and in the Boardroom of Vintners’ Hall. The weather was exceptional. My Consorts, Courtney Lambert and William Rasmussen, Senior Warden Henry Tuck and I had an opportunity to recognise Immediate Past Master, Paul Taberer and his Consort, Sharon and thank them once again for their vast contributions.
It was a glorious occasion and an opportunity to let the Americans and a Canadian experience a true English summer’s evening. Special thanks to Liveryman Jemma Freeman, for her generous gift of Cuban cigars.
Canapés and desserts were savoured along with champagne and cigars on the rooftop. The Searcy’s chef prepared a divine lemon sole, which was enjoyed in the boardroom. The lights of the City were enthralling and kept us all mesmerised until late in the evening.
