Kenneth C H Westcott

Kenneth Chester Hubert Westcott (1903-1977) was born in Bristol, where he attended the Merchant Venturers’ Secondary School. After leaving school he began work as a clerk for W D & H O Wills in Bristol. He was appointed Factory Manager of Robert Sinclair Tobacco Co Ltd of Newcastle in 1932, later becoming Managing Director. He also served as Managing Director of Messrs James Yule & Son of Aberdeen, wholesale tobacconists and cigar importers.
He served as a Director of Siemssen Hunter following the 1950s merger of leaf brokers Siemssen Threshie with Robert Freeman, which specialised in tobacco leaf broking and cigar importing. He was also a Director of the Percy Building Society.
