Pewterers Master and Clerks Dinner

The Master and Wardens of the Pewterers Company extended a very kind invitation to the Clerk and me to join them for dinner in their hall. There was a large turnout of Masters and Clerks from largely Ancient Liveries, so it was good to meet other Masters not normally on our circuit. Many I had met at the Lord Mayor's weekend, but our paths had not crossed since.
An interesting dinner of scallops and bacon, followed by pork wrapped in pancetta with marsala sauce. A welcome change.
The Master made a fine speech, and a stirrup cup was enjoyed
