EASI24

5th February 2025

Drapers Hall

We attended the Entrepreneurs Award in Social Innovation (EASI) showcase event at Drapers Hall, celebrating the entrepreneurs who won the EASI awards in 2024. The Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurs Trust provide grants and mentoring to selected companies who are making a difference in the Social Innovation world.

After speeches by the current and some Past Masters of the Entrepreneurs, the 2024 winners and finalists discussed with their Mentors and the audience key factors that had helped them get started, particularly in relation to the help provided by the Company of Entrepreneurs.

These included last year's winner Tresacare which provides support for careworkers, thereby reducing the serious staff turnover that occurs in the sector, and others who were trying to increase the take up of Electric bicycles and provide solar powered heated blankets for the homeless.

A reception followed, allowing us to meet members of the Company of Entrepreneurs and others involved wiith the scheme.

An additional boost to the event was that the Company of Entrepreneurs had found out the previous night that they had become the 112th Worshipful Livery Company, so they were extremely happy!
